What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
- Sign-in codes — we send one-time passcodes (OTPs) to your email to verify it's you. Codes are short-lived and stored only briefly.
- Prompts & generated posts — the text you type and the posts CutePost creates, so we can render, save, and show them back to you.
- Billing information — when you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We store your plan and subscription status, not your full card details.
- Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics (pages visited, features used) to keep the product fast and reliable.
How we use it
We use your data to run the service: authenticate you, generate and store your posts, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, and send essential emails (verification, receipts, important account notices). We do not sell your personal data.
AI generation
When you describe a post, your prompt is sent to an AI model to generate the content. We send only what's needed to fulfil the request and don't use your prompts to train our own models.
Third parties we rely on
- Dodo Payments — subscription billing and checkout
- Email delivery — to send verification codes and account emails
- Hosting & infrastructure — to run the app and store your data securely
Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
- Access or update your profile from your account settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@cutepost.app.
- Opt out of non-essential email at any time.
Security & retention
We protect your data with encryption in transit and access controls, and keep it only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
