Make it shorter. Make it punchier.
The first draft of any line is rarely the final one. Usually it's not wrong — it's just a little long, a little flat, or missing the one word that would make it land. Retyping the entire original prompt to fix that is overkill, and it usually produces a completely different card instead of a fixed one.
Fix the line, not the whole card
Any text inside a card can be nudged in place: shorter, punchier, a grammar pass, or an emoji dropped in where it helps. The rest of the card — layout, background, everything else — stays exactly as it was.
It's editing, not regenerating
This is the difference between "make me a new card" and "this one's almost right, just tighten this line." The second one is a much smaller ask, and it should take a much smaller action to get — not a full rewritten prompt typed from scratch.
Where this earns its keep
It's most useful on the line that's almost right — the reminder text that's one word too formal, the quote that's a beat too long for the card, the notification body that could use a little more voice. Small, specific fixes, applied without losing the rest of the design.
